Steven Jackson Doesn’t Expect To Miss Any Time

St Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher mentioned that RB Steven Jackson could have returned to Sunday game if needed, via the Rams twitter account.

This is obviously a great sign for Jackson and those who may own him in fantasy leagues. Daryl Richardson could still see some extra work against the Bears this weekend.

Rams RB Steven Jackson suffered a groin injury in the second quarter of yesterday’s 31-28 win against the Redskins. Jackson, doesn’t seemed to concerned about missing any playing time because of the injury.

“As for Jackson, who suffered a groin injury in the second quarter, he said he’ll try to return for next week’s game in Chicago,” wrote Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Jackson said he felt a strain in his groin in the second quarter of yesterday’s game. If the Rams decide to be cautious with Jackson and keep him out for Week 3’s against the Bears, then expectseventh round pick Daryl Richardson to get most of the workload in the Rams running game.
