St Louis Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo mentioned that RB Steven Jackson is likely to miss next weeks game against the New York Giants.
Jackson went down with quad is strained after breaking off a solid touchdown run. In recent years, Jackson has had a hard time staying on the field but he is certainly productive when healthy.
It looks like Cadillac Williams will be taking over as the teams No. 1 running back. Williams had a decent game in relief of Jackson yesterday and finished with 19 carriers and 91 yard rushing to go along with 5 catches for 49 yards receiving.
