When news came out that Terrell Owens had torn his ACL during the offseason it seemed as though he would have to wait until to the middle of the season before he could return to game action but from the video that he posted last night, Owens looks like he could be ready by the start of the season.
Owens is shown running through a ladder drill and sprinting off which is a pretty good indication that his knee has heeled quite well. He’s always kept himself in phenomenal shape and had maintained a ridiculous work ethic throughout his career but he still has more to prove before an NFL gives him another chance.
Arizona, Jacksonville and St. Louis are three teams that could use help at wide receiver. Jacksonville seems to make a good amount of sense but we’ll have to wait until Owens’s agent Drew Rosenhaus begins to contact teams before we can really start to gauge interest in T.O.
