Tampa Bay Re-signs Davin Joseph, Jeremy Trueblood and Michael Koenen

Davin Joseph himself has confirmed that the he has re-signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. ESPN’s Adam Schefter confirmsĀ that the deal is for seven years and also mentions that the Buc’s have also re-signed Jeremy Trueblood to a two-year deal and Michael Koenen gets a six-year contractĀ . John Clayton adds that the deal is for a total ofĀ $52 million.

This is a big move for Tampa as they had Joseph pegged as their top priority heading into the free agent market. Early rumors mentioned that there was going to be a lot of interest in him so the Buccaneers were going to have to make a serious commitment if they intended on keeping.

Tampa has maintain that they are going to continue focusing on the draft and young players and these signing fit right in with that strategy.
