John Boyle of the Everett Herald reports that the Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has named QB Tarvaris Jackson the teams starting quarterback.
Jackson had an advantage over Charlie Whitehurst considering that he’s played under new offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell for the last three seasons.
In Minnesota, Jackson showed some promise but lacked the consistency that teams would like to have at the quarterback position.
