Update:
Eagles HC Doug Pederson told reporters on Tuesday that they did not shop veteran RB Darren Sproles around for trade offers, per Bob Grotz.
According to Pederson, Sproles does not want to be traded and they’re not interested in moving him. Pederson, instead, expects Sproles to be a part of the team, even though he won’t be in attendance for voluntary camp.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Eagles have received calls from interested teams regarding a potential trade for veteran RB Darren Sproles during the draft.
Sproles wasn’t in attendance for the start of OTAs on Tuesday. According to Rapoport, Sproles plans to stay away from the team until his situation is sorted out.
Rapoport adds that Sproles isn’t frustrated by the situation, and is currently with his family.
This isn’t the first time the idea of the Eagles possibly trading Sproles has surfaced this offseason. However, there hasn’t been much buzz regarding the idea in recent weeks.
If the Eagles were in fact to move on from Sproles, it’s likely that they would ask fifth-round RB Wendell Smallwood to handle at least a portion of Sproles’ third-down role.
Sproles, 32, is in the final year of his three-year, $10.5 million contract that included $5.5 million guaranteed. He stands to make a base salary of $3.5 million for the 2016 season.
According to OverTheCap.com, trading Sproles would free up $3.5 million in available cap space while creating $1 million in dead money.
In 2015, Sproles appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles and ran for 317 yards on 83 carries (3.8 YPC) to go along with 55 receptions for 388 yards receiving and four total touchdowns. He also contributed 446 punt return yards and two touchdowns.
