Teddy Bridgwater Likely To Come Off The Board Between No. 8 – No. 26?

Ian Rapoport reports that the “sweet spot” for Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater is between picks No. 8 and No. 26 overall.

According to Rapoport, NFL teams are aware of the Browns interest at No. 26 and are discussing the idea of moving up ahead them.

Rapoport doesn’t offer any specifics regarding which teams could be making such a move, but reports from recent days have said that the Texans have been making calls about trading up from No. 33 overall.

Assuming these reports are true, you would have to think that they are targeting quarterback in the latter portion of round one.

One to watch in particular could be the Chiefs who hold the No. 23 overall pick. Previous reports have said that they would like to add some extra mid-round selections given that they are without a second pick this year.

Moving up to No. 23 would give them their pick of quarterbacks who have fallen out of the top-10, assuming that the Cardinals don’t select some at No. 20 overall.

We have the Jaguars trading up to No. 23 overall with the Chiefs and taking Bridgewater in our final 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
