Terrell Owens Hoping To Return To The NFL

Terrell Owens was introduced by theĀ Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League yesterday but mentioned that he would like to play in the NFL for another two years.

It was an opportunity for myself and my family,” Owens said, via ESPN Dallas. “It’s a way for myself to keep in shape. I haven’t retired from the NFL. I want to play a couple more years. This right here will allow me to do that and assess where I am. I know I’m physically fit to play the game still.

At 38, OwensĀ would have to be pretty impressive to garner consideration from NFL teams. The big question mark surrounding him is the health of his knee. Last year he tore his ACL which ultimately prevented him from even working out teams but he insists that he’s healthy enough to play well. I guess we’ll have to see if he’s able to produce in second-tier league before we can evenĀ speculateĀ whether of not he has at returning to the NFL.
