Terrelle Pryor’s Next Stop The UFL?

Yesterday’s big news from the sporting world was that Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor informed the school that he made the decision to forgo his senior season. Pryor was going to be suspended for the first five games of the upcoming season so he must have felt that moving on was going to be the best decision for him.

Pryors decision to leave early puts him in a difficult spot moving forward because as of now he could be taken in the supplemental draft or could join the UFL.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper addressed one issue in particular regarding Pryor and that’s whether or not he intends on staying at quarterback or is willing to make a move to wide receiver or tight end. Kiper specifically mentions that Matt Jones was able to make the transition and was ultimately taken in the first-round but he the benefit of the draft process which is something that Pryor has chosen to bypass.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that that there is a “decent chance” that Pryor ends up in the UFL.

This would be a good move if intends on playing quarterback because he’ll be able to showcase his ability for the NFL instead of being taken in the supplemental draft which will leave him with a much larger up-hill climb.
