Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that Houston Texans intend on pursuing CB Nnamdi Asoumgha.
The Texans have been rumored to be one of the top suitors for Asomugha throughout the majority of the lockout. Houston focused on their defense during this years draft by adding J.J. Watt, Brooks Reed and Brandon Harris but their secondary is still a concern.
Asomugha is by far the best available free agent in this years class and it just happens that he fits the teams biggest need. Houston is shaping for an “all in” season and head coach Gary Kubiak has to win now which leaves them in position to make a big move.
