Texans Considering The Possibility Of Appearing On “Hard Knocks”

Texans owner Bob McNair told reporters on Monday that the Texans are a candidate to appear on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” this year.

However, McNair added that he hasn’t made up his mind about the idea just yet and added that it would be a distraction for the team.

“It’s something we’re considering, but I haven’t decided,” McNair said, via John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. “It’s a distraction, but it’s something people like to see.

“Our first responsibility is to do everything we can to win on the field. So the question is, what impact does that have on you?”

Last night, Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News reported that the Browns are considered to be the “front-runners” to appear on “Hard Knocks,” so it looks like there could be a few teams interested in the opportunity.

For what it’s worth, the nine teams that can be forced to do the show include: Browns, Texans, Jaguars, Vikings, Giants, Rams, Buccaneers, Titans, and Redskins.
