Texans Cut 13 Players, Place OL David Quessenberry On NFI List

The Houston Texans have begun the process of trimming their roster down to 75 players on Monday, according to John McClain, by cutting nine players including:

Houston also placed LB Reshard Cliett on season-ending injured reserve.

Neild, 27, is a former seventh round pick of the Redskins back in 2011. He spent a few years with the team before he became an unrestricted free agent back in March.

Houston signed him to a contract a few months ago to bolster their interior defensive line depth for training camp.

In 2013, Neild appeared in eight games for the Redskins and recorded six tackles.
