Texans Cut Six Players

According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, the Texans have released six players on Wednesday including: TE Phillip Supernaw, RB Ray Graham, WR Rico Richardson, CB Loyce Means, FB Chad Spann and S Steven Terrell.

Supernaw, 24, signed with the Texans last March, but would only appear in one game during the 2013 season.

Graham, 23, signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh last year. He too appeared in just a single game for Houston last season and totaled four yards rushing and one reception for 12 yards.

Means, 25, signed with the Packers in April of last year after spending a few years in the CFL. He possesses great speed, but that wasn’t enough to keep him around long in Green Bay as he was released a few months later. The Texans would later add him to their practice squad in November.
