Texans Interested In Re-Signing OT Chris Clark

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Texans are interested in re-signing free agent OT Chris Clark before the start of free agency next week.

According to Wilson, Clark is expected to draw interest from other teams in need of tackle help, but it appears as though Houston will try to get something done before the market opens on Wednesday.

Clark, 30, came over in a trade with the Broncos in which the Texans sent Denver a 2016 seventh-round pick for him. He played out his contract and is now in position to be an unrestricted free agent in the coming days.

In 2015, Clark appeared 11 games for the Texans and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 41 offensive tackle out of 77 qualifying players.
