Texans Place CB Charles James On I.R. & Promote S Corey Moore

The Houston Texans promoted S Corey Moore to their active roster and placed Charles James on season-ending injured reserve, according to Aaron Wilson.

Bill O’Brien confirmed on Monday that James was headed to the injured reserve list, so this shouldn’t come as a big surprise.

James, 25, was a standout on this year’s Hard Knocks while he was playing for the Texans. However, he wound up being among their final roster cuts at the start of the season and later caught on with the Ravens.

Unfortunately, Baltimore elected to waive James back in October, but he was later claimed off of waivers by the Texans.

In 2015, James appeared in nine games for the Texans and recorded 19 tackles and a pass defense.
