Texans Place Rookie RB D’Onta Foreman On IR

According to Aaron Wilson, the Texans are placing rookie RB D’Onta Foreman on the injured reserve after sustaining a torn Achilles in Week 11.

It was clear that Foreman may have a serious injury after he was taken off the field with a left ankle injury.

Houston will move forward with Lamar Miller, Alfred Blue and Jordan Todman as their top three running backs.

Foreman, 21, was selected with the No. 89 overall pick by the Texans. He signed a four-year contract worth $3,159,484, which includes a signing bonus of $759,484, and stands to make base salaries of $588,500 and $678,500 over the next two years of the agreement.

Entering Sunday’s game, Foreman had rushed for 262 yards on 68 carries (3.9 YPC) to go along with three receptions for 68 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
