The Houston Texans announced that they’ve promoted G Josh Walker to their active roster on Tuesday.
- The Texans also signed WR Wendall Williams to their practice squad and placed WR Quenton Bundrage on the practice squad injured list.
Walker, 25, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Middle Tennessee State back in May of 2014. He lasted just a few months in Indianapolis before he was waived and later signed to the Packers’ practice squad.
Green Bay brought Walker back on a future/reserve contract last year but he was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason. The Texans signed him to their practice squad a few weeks ago.
In 2015, Walker appeared in 13 games for the Packers.
