Texans Re-Sign CB Kareem Jackson To A Four-Year Deal

Update:

————

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Texans have re-signed CB Kareem Jackson to a four-year contract on Saturday.

  • Ian Rapoport reports that Jackson’s contract is a four-year deal worth $34 million and includes $20 million guaranteed.
  • Ganguli reported earlier int the day that the Texans were in “active negotiations” with Jackson and it was “very possible” that he could be back in Houston next year.

I can’t wait to see what kind of figures Jackson walked away with in this contract, seeing has he was expected to have large amount of interest had he reached the open market.

Jackson, 26, recorded 57 tackles, three interceptions and nine pass defenses over the course of 13 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 11 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players.

We have Jackson listed as the No. 24 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
