Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Texans have re-signed RB Daryl Richardson to their practice squad on Wednesday.
The Texans’ practice squad now consists of:
- RB Daryl Richardson
- DE Steven Means (Exception)
- WR Chandler Worthy
- WR Josh Lenz
- QB Zac Dysert
- OL Karin Barton
- S Corey Moore
- DE Dan Pettinato
- TE Eric Tomlinson
- RB Kenny Hilliard
Richardson, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Rams back in 2012. He spent two years in St. Louis before he was waived and later claimed by the Jets in May of last year.
Unfortunately for Richardson, he was among the Jets’ early roster cuts before the start of the season. The Texans later signed him to a contract before releasing him a few weeks ago.
Richardson hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2013 season when he ran for 215 yards on 69 carries (3.1 YPC) to go along with 14 receptions for 121 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
