Titans Reach Agreement With C Ben Jones On A Four-Year Deal

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Titans and C Ben Jones have reached an agreement on a four-year deal.

The Texans were reportedly interested in re-signing Jones, but it appears as though the Titans were able to convince him to leave Houston.

Jones, 26, was taken in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL draft. He played out his four-year, $2,581,448 rookie contract, which included a base salary of $1,542,000 for the 2015 season and was among the best available centers in this year’s market.

Jones appeared in every game this season, and has yet to miss a contest since entering the league. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 23 center out of 40 qualifying players.

We had him featured in our Top 100 – 2016 Free Agents list.
