Texans Release Veteran DE Alex Carrington With An Injury Waiver

The Houston Texans officially released veteran DE Alex Carrington with an injury waiver on Tuesday.

Carrington, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Bills back in 2010. He spent four years in Buffalo before signing a one-year contract with the Rams in 2014. Carrington later returned to the Bills on a one-year deal in May of last year.

The Texans just signed Carrington to a contract last week, so his stay in Houston was short-lived.

In 2015, Carrington appeared in seven games for the Bills and recorded eight tackles and no sacks.
