John McClain reports that the Houston Texans restructured the contract of WR Andre Johnson on Tuesday.
- According to McClain, Johnson receives two $5.5 million bonuses.
- Johnson was scheduled to make $10.5 million for the 2012, but that figure has been reduced to $5 million.
Johnson, 32, signed a seven-year contract worth $62.7 million with $48 million guaranteed back in 2010. He’ll be under team control through the 2016 season at which point he’ll be 36-years-old.
