Texans Sixth-Round OLB Reshard Cliett Could Be Out For Season With Knee Injury

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports that Texans sixth-round pick OLB Reshard Cliett suffered a knee injury that will likely cost him the entire 2015 season.

It seems likely that Houston will place him on season-ending injured reserve in the coming days if does in fact have a serious knee injury.

Cliett, 23, was the No. 211 overall pick in this year’s draft. He received a four-year contract worth $2,370,484 and includes $90,484 fully guaranteed. He stands to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2015 season.

During his four years at South Florida, Cliett recorded 138 tackles, 18 tackles for a loss, nine sacks, a forced fumble and seven pass defenses.
