Texans Sign C Eric Kush

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Texans are signing C Eric Kush to their active roster on Tuesday.

Houston was clearly in the market for interior offensive linemen, given that they worked out Kush, G Josh Allen, C Dalton Freeman,Jacques McClendon, and C Daniel Munyer in recent days.

Kush, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2013. He spent over two years in Kansas City and appeared in three games for the Chiefs before he was waived at the start of the regular season.

The Buccaneers wound up claiming him a day after he was cut by the Chiefs, but his time in Tampa Bay was short lived, as he was cut a week later.

The Panthers elected to sign him to their practice squad a few weeks into the season, but he was unfortunately waived last week.
