Texans Sign Former Bengals DT Devon Still To Futures Deal

The Houston Texans have signed former Bengals DT Devon Still to reserve/future contract on Wednesday, according to Aaron Wilson.

Still, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Bengals. Last year, Still was released at the start of the season, but he was later added to the team’s practice squad. Cincinnati brought Still back on a one-year, $740,000 contract back in March. However, he was among their final roster cuts at the start of the season.

The Colts, Titans, Broncos, Texans and Jets all brought Still in for workouts in past few months, so there was a decent amount of interest in him.

In 2014, Still appeared in 12 games and recorded 19 tackles for the Bengals. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 237 snaps last year.
