Texans Sign WR Joe Adams & OT Brice Schwab

 

The Houston Texans signed WR Joe Adams and OT Brice Schwab earlier this morning, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

Adams, 24, was a fourth-round selection of the Panthers during the 2012 NFL draft. He spent his rookie season with Carolina and appearing in nine games and catching one pass for seven yards.

The Panthers later placed Adams on waivers before the start of the 2013 season. He would later sign on with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League.

Schwab, 24, signed with the the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State last year. He later caught on with the Patriots, but was waived right before the start of free agency.
