Texans Trade QB Case Keenum To Rams For A 7th Round Pick

ESPN’s Adam Schfter reports that the Texans have traded QB Case Keenum back to the St. Louis Rams for a seventh–round pick in 2016.

It’s interesting to see Kennum head back to St. Louis to bolster their depth behind Nick Foles, who was acquired in a trade with the Eagles that sent Sam Bradford for Philly.

Keenum, 27, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrfrafted free agent back in 2012.

He spent the first two years of his carrer with Houston before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season and later claimed off of waivers by the Rams.

However, the Texans would sign Keenum off of the Rams’ practice squad in December of last year.

Last year, appeared in two games and threw for 435 yards while completing 58.4 percent of his passes to go along with two touchdowns and two picks.
