Texans WR Jaelen Strong Arrested For Marijuana Possession

Jason Snavely of ABC15 reports that Texans WR Jaelen Strong was arrested late Sunday night for possession of marijuana.

Strong, 22, was taken in the third round of last year’s NFL draft by the Texans. He’ll be entering the second year of his four-year, $3.281 million rookie contract that included $820,338 guaranteed.

Strong stands to make base salaries of $525,000 (2016), $615,000 (2017), and $705,000 (2018) over the remainder of the contract.

In 2015, Strong appeared in 10 games for the Texans and recorded 14 receptions for 161 yards and three touchdowns.
