Texans WR Will Fuller Suffers Broken Collarbone, Out 2-3 Months

Adam Schefter and Sarah Barshop of ESPN are reporting that Texans WR Will Fuller broke his collarbone during Wednesday’s practice and is now out indefinitely.

  • Sources have indicated to Mark Berman that Fuller will be out between 2-3 months with a broken collarbone that will require surgery.

Fuller’s injury will open up more opportunity for Jaelen Strong and Braxton Miller this summer.

Fuller, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Texans back in 2016. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $10.164 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $912,014 and $1.37 million over the next two years of the contract.

In 2016, Fuller appeared in 14 games and caught 47 passes for 635 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He also totaled 165 punt return yards and a touchdown last year. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 95 receiver out of 115 qualifying players.
