Texas A&M WR Mike Evans Visiting Bills Tuesday

According to Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, the Buffalo Bills hosted Texas A&M WR Mike Evans for pre-draft visits on Tuesday.

  • The Bills are also meeting with USC OL Marcus Martin and Georgia Southern RB Jerick McKinnon.

Evans appears to be a lock to go in the top-10 of this year’s Draft and would be a strong pick for the Bills at No. 9 overall.

Buffalo recently traded for WR Mike Williams, but Evans would offer them a huge target that is currently missing in their receiver corps. Evans superior size and catch radius would be a great compliment to the speed from receivers like Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin.

Buffalo could really go a number of ways with the first-round pick. They’ve met with offensive tackle prospects like Jake Matthews as well as UNC TE Eric Ebron.

For what’s worth, we have the Buccaneers selecting Evans at No. 7 and the Bills taking Ebron in our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
