NFL communications director Randall Liu tweets that the NFL has pushed back the trade deadline to 4 PM ET on Thursday.
Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com reports that the league is considering moving the trade deadline back since several teams have closed their offices because Hurricane Sandy.
“It is being discussed and we will let the clubs know if a change is made,” said NFL spokesman Greg Aiello.
As of now, the trade deadline will be at 4PM ET on Tuesday. If the NFL does in fact move it back, there could be more interest around the league, but it’s still highly unlikely that it will be as active as other deadlines like the MLB and NBA.
