The NFL Will Review Favre – Sterger Allegations

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the NFL will look into the allegations that Brett Favre sent inappropriate images to Jenn Sterger during Favre’s time with the New York Jets.

League spokesman, Greg Aiello, told the Associated Press that “We are reviewing the matter.”

This story was first reported by Deadspin back in early August but it wasn’t until yesterday that they published supposed photos of Favre’s penis and voice mails that he left on her phone.

Jenn Sterger has yet to comment on the allegations. She is featured on The Daily Line which is shown on Versus.

Favre was confronted about the allegations yesterday but only said that he refused to talk about the story and went on the mention that, “I’ve got my hands full with the Jets.”

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has been tough on players for off-the-field actions deemed to be “inappropriate”  so depending on how he handles this situation, he could cause even more controversy. This is hardly as bad as Tiger Woods’s situation but it could have a serious impact on Favre’s imagine depending on how this situation plays out.
