Tim Hightower Not Cleared For Team Workouts Until ACL Improves

Realredskins.com reports that Redskins coach Mike Shanahan will wait till running back Tim Hightower‘s knee is about 95% before he participates in practice with the team.

Hightower was moving pretty well today in his individual drills, but is not at the level at which he needs to be at if he wants to practice. Shanahan does not have a timetable for Hightower’s injury, and has stressed that Hightower will practice when his knee is ready.

Hightower tore his ACL last season against the Panthers in Week 7 and has been off the field ever since.
