Mike Klis of the Denver Post writes that Tim Tebow is receiving zero snaps with the Denver Broncos offense.
“Tim Tebow is in a serious quarterback competition all right. He and Brady Quinn are neck and neck in the battle for the No. 2 quarterback spot,” Kils writes.
Kyle Orton has been tacking all of the teams first-team snaps while Tebow and Brady Quinn are splitting second-team snaps. Orton has reportedly looked much better than either Quinn or Tebow which isn’t all that surprising.
Denver has already paid Orton a $1.5 million roster bonus and will be on the hook for another $2.9 million whether the keep him or cut him so they’re in a bit of predicament.
