TIm Tebow Played Through Serious Injuries Against The Patriots

Days after the Denver Broncos lost to the New England Patriots, a report comes out that Broncos QB Tim Tebow played through a number of injuries despite the fact that the game was largely out of hand.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Tebow played through a torn rib cartilage, a bruised lung, and fluid build-up in the plural space of his chest. Schefter adds that Tebow wouldn’t have been able to play in the AFC Championship Game if the Broncos would have won.

Brady Quinn could be seen warming up on the sidelines but at the time it was believed to be because of the score not because of injuries.

No one has questioned Tebow’s heart or toughness. The guy is determined to succeed and keep trying but that could have a pretty serious impact on the amount of games he plays. Denver has already said that they intend to have Tebow as their starting quarterback heading into the next season but the real question is will be who’s brought in to back him up.
