Titans Re-Sign OT Byron Bell

Update:

The Titans have already announced that they’re bringing OT Byron Bell back next year.

Rand Getlin of NFL Media reports that the Titans have reached an agreement with OT Byron Bell on a new deal.

It appears as though Bell was waiting for the offensive tackle market to thin out before re-signing with Tennessee.

Bell, 26, signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of New Mexico back in 2011. He finished out his rookie contract before receiving a second-round tender from the Panthers in 2014.

The Titans elected to sign him to a one-year deal in April of last year.

In 2015, Bell appeared in all 16 games for the Panthers and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 38 offensive tackle out of 77 qualifying players.

We had him featured in our Best Available Free Agents list.
