Titans Signing CB Brice McCain To A Two-Year, $5M Deal

The Tennessee Titans have reached an agreement with former Dolphins CB Brice McCain, according to his agent David Canter.

  • Ian Rapoport reports that McCain receives a two-year contract worth $5 million from the Titans.

The Titans recently brought McCain in for a workout, so they were clearly interested in signing him to a contract.

The Steelers and Buccaneers were also mentioned as possibilities for McCain.

McCain, 29, was in the final year of his two-year, $5.5 million contract that included $3 million guaranteed when Miami released him in a move that freed up $2.5 million in available cap space.

In 2015, McCain appeared in 14 games for the Dolphins and recorded 39 tackles, an interception, and 10 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 93 cornerback out of 118 qualifying players.
