Titans Claim WR Damaris Johnson Off Waivers From Patriots

Adam Caplan reports that the Titans have claimed WR Damaris Johnson off of waivers from the Patriots on Thursday.

Johnson, 26, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Tulas back in 2012. Philadelphia cut him at the start of last year and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Texans.

Houston re-signed him to a one-year contract back in March before waiving him at the start of the season. The Patriots signed him to a contract a few weeks ago before cutting him loose on Wednesday.

This season, Johnson has appeared in one game and ran for six yards on one carry to go along with three punt return yards.
