The Tennessee Titans officially promoted WR Tre McBride to their active roster on Tuesdaay following Andre Johnson‘s decision to retire from the NFL.
McBride, 23, is a former seventh-round pick of the Titans back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason last year, but was later signed to the team’s practice squad before later being promoted at the end of the year.
The Titans elected to cut McBride loose coming out of the preseason a few months ago before signing him to their practice squad a few days later.
In 2015, McBride appeared in seven games and caught two passes for eight yards receiving and a touchdown. He also contributed 190 kick return yards.
