Titans Get LB Barrett Ruud

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that former Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB Barrett Ruud will be leaving for the Tennessee Titans.

“I found some mutual interest, which is good,” Ruud told Wyatt. “I am glad it worked out this way.”

A few months ago the Buccaneers were not sure whether or not they would be retaining Ruud but their strategy has been to focus on their young talent rather than veteran players.

This move would suggest that the Titans are not going to be retaining LB Stephen Tulloch who has been linked to the Lions and Eagles in recent days.
