Once the Seattle Seahawks were out of the picture it seemed like it was just a matter of time before he signed the offer from the Tennessee Titans. Adam Schefter tweets that the Hasselbeck and the Titans have agreed to a three-year contract.
Tennessee knew that they needed to bring in a guy that could not only be a bridge for newly drafted QB Jake Locker but also a mentor and Hasselbeck should fit both of the roles pretty well. I wouldn’t expect to see them competing for the division this year but they’re likely to win a game two that they weren’t supposed to.
