Lelito previously met with the Lions, but did not receive an offer from the team during his visit to Detroit.
Lelito, 27, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2013. He has managed to make the 53-man roster in all four his seasons in the NFL and returned to the Saints last year on a one-year, $1.67 million contract.
Lelito is not testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.
In 2016, Lelito appeared in all 16 games for the Saints and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 49 guard out of 72 qualifying players.
We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
