Garvin recently visited with the Redskins, but apparently didn’t receive an offer from them.
Garvin, 25, wound up signing on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia back in 2013. He returned to Pittsburgh on a one-year deal last year and is now testing the open market for the first time.
It’s worth mentioning that the Steelers elected to not tender him a restricted offer, which is why he’s an unrestricted free agent.
In 2015, Garvin appeared in 12 games and recorded nine tackles for the Steelers, largely as a special teams contributor.
