Titans Hosting Veteran G John Jerry & CB Perrish Cox

Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that the Titans are hosting veteran G John Jerry and CB Perrish Cox on Friday.

  •  Rand Getlin previously reported Cox would be meeting with the Titans on Friday.

The top-tier cornerback options are now of the board, which leaves Cox as one of the best available options, who could come at a reasonable price now that we’re in the second wave of free agency.

Jerry, 28, is a former third round pick of the Dolphins back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with the Dolphins before signing a one-year agreement with the Giants in March of last year.

In 2014, Jerry appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and played a total of 1152 snaps. However, Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 66 guard out of 78 qualifying players.

Last year, Cox appeared in 15 games and recorded 53 tackles, five interceptions, two fumble recoveries and 18 pass defenses for the 49ers.

We have Cox listed as the No. 84 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
