Titans Interviewing Lions QBs Coach Brian Callahan For OC Job, Jets & Giants Also Options

Jordan Raanan of ESPN reports that Lions QBs coach Brian Callahan is scheduled to interview for the Titans’ offensive coordinator position.

According to Raana, Callahan shouldn’t be ruled out for the Giants and is also scheduling an interview with the Jets for a possible position.

On Monday, Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com reported that the Lions were parting ways with Callahan and there should be a decent market for Callahan now that he’s available.

Paul Kuharsky previously mentioned that new Titans HC Mike Vrabel likes Callahan as an offensive coordinator candidate, so this isn’t a huge surprise.

Callahan spent six years with the Broncos as their offensive assistant/quarterbacks coach and was a part of the coaching staff that helped them win Super Bowl 50. The Lions later hired him as their QBs coach in 2016 and he’s helped to continue to develop Matthew Stafford the past few years.

We’ll have more regarding Callahan as the news is available.
