Wyatt adds that the Titans “don’t want to lose him,” but a long-term deal is unlikely to be reached any time soon.
This would undoubtedly come as a disappointment for Cook and he not only would delay a long-term contract based on market value, but he returns to a team that has struggled to utilize him in their offense.
There’s no doubt that Cook is a very talented player, but it’s hard to imagine things getting much better for him in 2013.
