Titans News: Nate Washington, Michael Griffin

Nate Washington

According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, WR Nate Washingtonrecently had surgery for a chipped bone in his knee” but is still expecting to be present for organized team activities after the draft.

While Washington may not be able to participate in OTA’s for the Titans, it’s at least a positive sign that he expects to be recovered in the near future.  Washington took over for WR Kenny Britt when he went down with a torn ACL last season.

Michael Griffin

Jim Wyatt also reports that S Michael Griffin is planning on taking part in the team’s offseason program, despite the fact that he has yet to sign his franchise tender.

The Titans chose to tag Griffin instead of CB Cortland Finneganso they’ll almost certainly need him to be at the top of his game next season while they try to solidify their secondary without some of their previous starters.
