Titans Now Have A QB Controversy?

Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean tweets that he expects the Titans to start QB Matt Hasselbeck against the Colts in Week 8.

Hasselbeck has led the team to a 2-1 record while Jake Locker has been nursing a shoulder injury. Their offense has also made strides with Hasselbeck under center, so it’s at least fair to wonder whether or not they would consider sticking with the hot-hand, rather than throw Locker back in the mix.

Head coach Mike Munchak mentioned that he’s not concerned about the team’s record with Hasselbeck, in regards to a possible quarterback change.

“No matter what happened (Sunday),” Munchak said, via the Nashville Tennessean“Nothing was going to change on Jake’s situation.”

The Titans clearly want to give Locker the opportunity to develop this season, even if that means disrupting their current progress.
