Titans OLB Derrick Morgan & RB Dexter McCluster Out For Season

Titans interim HC Mike Mularkey announced Monday that OLB Derrick Morgan and RB Dexter McCluster are both out for the season.

Tennessee will likely place both players on season-ending injured reserve in the coming days.

Morgan, 26, is in the first year of his four-year, $27 million contract that includes $10.5 million guaranteed. He’ll make a base salary of $2.5 million this season and another $4.5 million next year.

This season, Morgan appeared in 10 games and recorded 24 tackles, 4.5 sacks, a forced fumble and two pass defenses for the Titans.

McCluster, 27, is in the second year of his three-year, $9 million contract that includes $4.5 million guaranteed. He’ll make a base salary of $2.35 million this season and another $2.275 million in 2016.

McCluster’s 2015 season ends with him appearing in 11 games and rushing for 247 yards on 55 carries (4.5 YPC) to go along with 31 receptions for 260 yards receiving and two total touchdowns. McCluster also contributed 502 total return yards.
