Titans OL Byron Bell Likely Out For Season After Dislocating His Ankle Tuesday

Titans HC Mike Mularkey told reporters following Tuesday’s OTA practice that OL Byron Bell is expected to miss the 2016 season after he sustained a dislocated left ankle, per Jason Wolf.

Reporters in attendance mentioned that Bell has sustained what appeared to be a gruesome injury.

It’s likely that the Titans will place Bell on the injured reserve list in the coming days to free up a roster spot.

Bell, 27, signed a one-year$2.25 million contract with the Titans back in March that included  $650,000 guaranteed. He’ll test the free agent market again in 2016.

In 2015, Bell appeared in all 16 games for the Titans and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 38 offensive tackle out of 77 qualifying players.
